Terminal Two Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contractor Mercury Engineering was the safest Transforming Dublin Airport contractor onsite during July.
Mercury was the top-rated contractor of the 21 firms included in the July safety league table prepared by the DAA's Group Planning and Capital Projects (GPCP) division, which manages the delivery of the €2 billion Transforming Dublin Airport investment programme.
T2 Energy Centre contractor Leo Lynch was the second safest firm onsite, while Pier E contractor PJ Hegarty was in third position.
GPCP produces a safety league table of all its contractors every month and scores them on their accident frequency ratio, site safety inspections and project manager inspections.
“Well done to Mercury Engineering, which has been exemplary in its safety record to date,” said GPCP Safety Manager Noel Brennan.
